EControl Aga running costs
Series 1 eControl running costs are:
£7.02 per week when using the timer function.
£18.27 p/w when in Eco Mode, with 24/7 continuous use.
£23.42 p/w when in full mode 24/7 with continuous use.
These prices have been calculated at 34p KwH, which is the upcoming October energy price cap.
Series 2 eControl running costs are approximately 15% lower than Series 1 prices.
These lower running costs are achieved by the increased flexibility offered, so your Aga works exactly how you want it to.
What are eControl temperatures?
With the eControl Series 2 you have the flexibility of the following temperature ranges:
Roasting oven: 0 to 250 °C
Baking oven: 0 to 250 °C
Slow-cooking oven: 0 to 180 °C
Warming oven: 90 °C
Boiling plate: 0 to 375 °C
Simmering Plate: 0 to 265 °C
Eco mode heats the top oven to 180 °C, while the Eco Mode hob temperatures both reduced by 100 °C.
How long does an eControl Aga take to heat up?
Top right-hand oven: Roasting temperature in c.25 minutes from eco mode
Top right-hand oven: Roasting temperature in c.70 minutes from cold
Top right-hand oven: Baking temperature in c.50 minutes from cold
Hobs: Full temperature from Eco Mode in c.5 minutes
Hobs: Cooking temperature in c. 8-10 minutes from stone cold
Hobs: Boiling temperature in c.14 minutes
